Meeting Overview:
1. Review of Special Town meeting results and their impact LGWG
2. Established Richard Jaffe as first alternate for representatives of the Friends of Lake Garfield
3. Presentation by Mercedes Gallagher of Becket regarding work being done to remediate aquatic invasive at Center Pond using “hand-pulling.”
4. Discussed potential for hand-pulling milfoil at Lake Garfield
5. Determined that the LGWG should publish a regular article series in the Monterey News, presenting topics and updates relevant to the work of the LGWG.
5.1 Determined that the first article should present the work and findings of Ms. Gallagher as described in her own article.
6. Discussed possibility of inviting Emily Stockman of Stockman Associates, Inc. to present her work at the next meeting
